WEEKLY RENTALS: 2011 rates

The rates below are ESTIMATES of what might be required for a weekly rental. These estimates are calculated with the most basic of technical requirements. Each show/event will receive a individualized quote. The following numbers are meant only as jumping off points and not to be considered accurate costings. Technicians are paid by the hour (with a minimum four hour call). Additional crew costs can be seen to the right. The technical director (or his replacement) is required to be paid to be in the space at all times when any in house technical equipment is being used.

In Addition below estimates DO NOT include:

  • A $1 Facility Enhancement fee on all sold tickets for events in the facility.
  • $64 will be charged per public performance for a Front of House supervisor on a four hour call.
  • The third party liability insurance required for all rentals (rates depend on individual brokers)

One week: $2,105.50 Includes

  • House Technician for up to 40 hours
  • 25 hours of secondary technical labour
  • 1 Janitorial call for public spaces, washroom green room, and dressing rooms
  • Use of all Catalyst Equipment
  • $75 worth of consumables


Two weeks: $3,810.50 Includes

  • House Technician for up to 40 hours each week
  • 25 hours of secondary technical labour
  • 2 Janitorial call for public spaces, washroom green room, and dressing rooms
  • Use of all Catalyst Equipment
  • $75 worth of consumables


Three weeks: $5,515.50 Includes

  • House Technician for up to 40 hours each week
  • 25 hours of secondary technical labour for set up and strike
  • 3 Janitorial call for public spaces, washroom green room, and dressing rooms
  • Use of all Catalyst Equipment
  • $75 worth of consumables

DAILY RENTALS

For rentals of less than one week we will provide a quote once your needs have been discussed with our Facility Manager.

ADDITIONAL CREW HOURS:

  • $17.50 per hour for crew, up to eight hours in a day
  • Overtime hours are billed to the renter when crew have exceeded 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week
  • $28.50 per hour for primary Technician
  • $21 per hour for additional crew


Box office and ushering staff are not included with these rental rates. It is the responsibility of the outside user groups to organize and staff their own box office and usherers. Effective January 1st, 2010 AGLC regulations require that all persons serving alcohol be ASIP certified. Catalyst's FOH supervisor can provide concession services but stock, preparation and floats must still be provided by the renter.

Note: crew calls are a minimum four hours

Crew hours required for the set up, tech, operation and strike your event that exceed the amounts included in the standard rental rates will be charged back to the renter.

Renters are required to carry third party liability insurance.

PLEASE NOTE, RE:FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICES:

Box office, front of house management, ushering and concession staff are not included with these rental rates. It is the responsibility of the outside user groups to organize and staff their own box office and front of house.
